Devlog 0.22.6: Players Online & Sharper Beams

See how many trainers are playing right now, and beams that are much harder to dodge.

What's new

• Title screen: a live counter in the top-left corner shows how many players are online and how many are in an online battle right now.
• ONLINE menu: next to RANKED, how many are playing and how many are in the queue; next to FIND ROOM, the open arena rooms you can join; next to FRIENDS, how many of your friends are online.
• The counter does not log you in: opening the game on another device will not kick you out. Your account only connects when you enter ONLINE.
• Beams follow your aim much faster: while charging they snap to where you point, and once firing they turn about twice as fast, so just running sideways no longer dodges them.
• Beams and ultimates fire sooner: about 30% less wind-up for Solar Beam, Hyper Beam, Aura Storm, Aeroblast, Hydro Pump, Hydro Cannon, Blast Burn, Aurora Beam, V-create, Fire Blast, Zap Cannon and Waterburst Shuriken.
• Leaf Tornado steers towards your cursor twice as fast.
