Devlog 0.24.0: The League

A new way to play: start with four Pokémon and earn the other 21 by beating them in the League, five circuits of rising difficulty that end with the legendary bosses.

What's new

• PLAY > LEAGUE: TECHNO CIRCUIT, EARTH CIRCUIT, VOLCANO CIRCUIT, OCEAN CIRCUIT and the HALL OF LEGENDS, each fought in its own arena against a tougher CPU.
• Three rivals are open at a time in each circuit; beat one and the next opens. Clear a circuit to unlock the next one.
• Win a best-of-3 against a rival and it joins your roster for every mode: VS CPU, 2 PLAYERS, TRAINING, ARENA MODE and ONLINE.
• Rematch any defeated rival whenever you like. Beat it with Pokémon of three different roles to earn its three stars.
• You start with Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Pichu. Trainers who already had an account before this update keep everything unlocked.
• Progress is saved on this device for now; linking it to your account comes next.
