What is Poké Arena 2D?
Did you land here from a Reel or a TikTok? Welcome. Here is the game in one minute.
Poké Arena 2D is a real-time arena battler with Pokémon in pixel art. You see the arena from above and you control your Pokémon directly: you move, aim, dodge and fire. It is not turn-based. It plays more like a twin-stick arena game than like the classic Pokémon battles.
It runs in your browser, on a computer, a phone or with a gamepad. No download, no install.
How a match works
- Five moves each. Two attacks, a dash, a special and an ultimate, all different for every Pokémon.
- Dodge or block. You can step out of the way, or hold a block to take less damage.
- CLASH. If two beams meet, they push against each other. The stronger side wins the clash.
- Evolve while you fight. Your Pokémon grows during the match: 25 evolution lines, and some of them can go Mega.
- Ultimates. Charge them up and unleash something spectacular.
Ways to play
- 1v1 duels against the CPU or a friend on the same device.
- ARENA MODE: up to six in a free-for-all.
- Online: ranked matches with an Elo ladder, arena rooms for up to six, and friends you can challenge.
